This was at the Norwich Arts Centre, St Benedicts St, Norwich
Support was a local youth orchestra (all teenagers -- really) playing light classics. Plus 'Bogshed', who were indie favourites in the UK at the time (played a lot on the John Peel show). Robyn appeared as a trio with Morris and Andy on stand up drums and stand up bass, respectively. This gig sticks vividly in my head as I had a dental abscess at the time
Morris had to intervene when a stage monitor almost caught on fire -- and Robyn got annoyed when someone called out for "Don't Point It at Gran", which was still unreleased back then --- "Where the fuck did you hear that!??" was his response.
PS They all wore evening suits. This was not unusual gig attire for them back then. (I remember similarly themed gigs at the Electric Screen in London -- and also at Ronnie Scotts... )
