Book event for the release of Robyn's memoir '1967: How I Got There and Why I Never Left'
In conversation with Tom Pinnock of Uncut magazine.

I went to Foyles (London) this evening to hear Robyn speak about his memoir with Tom Pinnock. He played 3 songs at the end: Waterloo Sunset (Kinks), See Emily Play (Pink Floyd) and A Day In The Life (Beatles).
In content it was a little different from the Rough Trade event. This was more conversational and ranged over subjects, including his parents, class, and whether the UK or US readership would appreciate the boarding school setting more (probably the US, thanks to the media portrayal of us!) There was also a much longer reading of the ENO happening episode, with plenty of the Ralph Brown (“Camberwell carrot”) voice. I saw Terry Edwards and Nick Lowe there, plus someone there outed himself as one of the chaps mentioned in the book (and didn’t seem too upset!)
