We believe this is Robyn's first MTV appearance (Air date April 3, taping/performance dates unknown). The videos for Raymond Chandler Evening and Balloon Man are shown, Robyn is interviewed several times and the Egyptians perform two songs. Tremendous thanks to Lobster Time for unearthing and archiving the video footage (see below).

Morris Windsor's Facebook: "Filming for MTV's 120 Minutes (I think) in an empty club near the 59th St. Bridge in NYC in 1988...Michael Krumper was there. as was [Egyptians roadie Howie] Gilbert! Feeling groovy!" [note - we were not able to confirm that this appearance was on 120 Minutes; although it seems to be the case - the host does appear to be Dave Kendall (although Robyn playfully addresses him as "Kevin") and Kendall mentions a 12 midnight start time at the end of the broadcast, presumably for the upcoming episode (120 Minutes routinely aired in the wee hours). Starting in mid-1988, a weeknight companion program called PostModern MTV also aired, leading into 120 Minutes from Monday through Thursday.
